We want to find the right pet for you

If you have already registered to rehome please log in

At Battersea, our experts take the time to get to know more about you and what you’re looking for in a dog or cat. Because making the best possible matches matters to us. So, although rehoming a rescue could take a little more time, a little more patience and a little more effort - the end result will be more than worth it.

Please note:

Battersea is taking the threat posed by COVID-19 extremely seriously and working hard to ensure we are able to continue to provide essential care for all the dogs and cats at our centres.

Our staff are working hard to respond to rehoming enquiries and to rehome our dogs and cats following Government approved guidelines regarding social distancing.

At the moment we have fewer dogs and cats than usual available to rehome and it may take longer to find you a new companion. Register your details with us and we’ll start you on the journey to finding your next pet.

Learn about the process

Registering your details is the first step of our process:

  • Register online:

We will start by asking you a series of questions related to your current living circumstances as well as your preferences. This process should take no more than 15 minutes and will help us find the best animal for you.

  • Speak with a rehoming team member:

When we think that we have an animal that’s a good match for you, we will ask you to arrange a callback. You’ll then speak with one of our expert rehoming team, just to get a few more details about your application and any specific requirements. This should take no longer than 30 minutes.

  • Rehome:

Once you have had a chance to virtually meet your new potential pet, we’ll arrange a visit to a Battersea centre. You'll be provided with expert pet advice and support to help your new friend settle in.
